Nadhura Design is a Irish company, based in Galway City, Co. Galway. Our name is derived from the Gaelic word ‘Nádúrtha’ meaning ‘Natural’; we are a design-led, environmentally conscious company with a unique approach combining traditional manufacturing and modern design and production technologies.
At Nadhura Design we take our inspiration from the natural and built environment of the west coast of Ireland. Through the medium of natural materials and finishes, we blend traditional making and designing techniques with modern machining and technology to create. We look to our environment and aim to work in synergy with it. There's a need to create products in a responsible manner as close to the consumer as possible. Our work has a sense of place and identity, while holding a modern desirable style.
Our team holds a vast amount of knowledge and experience in the design and production of wood based products and furniture. We have worked on many complex architectural woodworking projects internationally, providing engineered solutions ready for manufacture. Many of our team have trained in the "National Centre for Excellence in Furniture Design and Technology" situated in Letterfrack Co Galway. We are passionate about what we do and seek out challenging projects which push the boundaries of materials and technology.
